This little crew of kids, the Nyngan Mini Dragons, played their hearts out today. With only 9 kids we had one reserve all day, but I think every kid there had a personal best in some way or another, even if it was just making it onto the field or kicking the ball. The team has been steadily losing players and then had 4 away today, so were pretty tired by the end. Lachlan played hard and well all day, particular in defence. Hamish, even after a week of asthma and flu and not quite 100% yet, contributed several great plays and played well all day. All the kids had a great day and never complained, which is the most important thing. They have great coaches, jenny and Mark, who are encouraging and positive and kept them happy. Thanks guys!
