Rain and other tid bits...

It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring... Why do farmers have an innate ability to stay asleep on rainy mornings???? Very puzzling. I have sent my children off to school with no rain coat. Who owns raincoats in Nyngan??????? It had stopped raining by the time they got on the bus, but has started again and seems to have settled in, and I am feeling very bad about my darling boys and their lack of a rain coat.

We have Wiggles tickets for next Friday (Long story but I got the dates confused when I bought them and didn't think it was a school day, so got the boys a ticket as well). Anyway, I fully intend to pull the boys out of school, and feel better about this now that I know some other Mums who are doing the same thing. Only one problem, Lacho doesn't want to miss school, and I think he will actually enjoy it when he gets there. They have seen the Wiggles once before, almost three years ago, it is a great show, and this will be the last time I will take them...but my little boy says "I just want to be a big kid and go to school.." How sad, and cute!

I am trying to bribe him, having told him that if he comes with me I will buy him tap shoes. The boys have started junior boys tap dancing and they LOVE it, but as yet don't have tap shoes. This, according to them, is a catastrophe. Their teacher told us to wait a couple of weeks though to make sure they like it before splurging on shoes. Hamish informed me that "we already knew we would like it!". Oh, sorry..

Well best go, we got our lovely built-in wardrobes in our room and Prue's, and there are many shelves to fill!

We don't own a raincoat or umbrella here either, & it is becoming a bit of a must-get item. How good is the rain? Hope you all enjoy the Wiggles, & well done on the built-in's.

I will see you at the wiggles.... well if your going to the 12.30 session. Kristy tried to get tickets for her and Libby today but they are all sold out.

Hi 5 is going to be in Dubbo on the 24th April so I will be taking the girls to that too.

You must be so pleased to have your wardrobes.

Still laughing my ass off at the cake thanks for that.

I will have to check out the aussiebloggers site sounds great.

Have a good night

ahh yes they do grow up awfully quickly don't they! I remember Luke was in love with Hi5 when he started Kindy - and within one month it was no longer a cool thing for a kindy kid!

I forgot to get Hi5 Tickets yesterday - must ring them on Monday and reserve them!
