While Hamish had his operation, Trevor stayed with Prue and Lachlan at his sister's house. The kids love catching up with their big cousins (who happen to have a lot of toys). In addition to enjoying their company, the kids also enjoy the the haul of outgrown toys that they always leave with, Sinea in particular, at 9, has lots of lovely girly things for Prue, including makeup, and a set of two pink phones joined together that actually work. All three kids have been doing lots of beading since we got home, also courtesy of Sinea. It is the makeup that is the biggest hit with Prue. A big pink makeup case with about 10 eyeshadow colours and three fluorescent lip shades. Sadly, Prue ignores the eyeshadow, preferring to coat her eyes (and hair) with the fluorescent lip gloss. I have spent the last three days cleaning her face, hands, hair, and the house, of candy red gloss. Thank goodness it is nearly all gone! She thought that she was so beautiful that she had to steal Hamish's camera to take a photo. I have also included a photo of her with her Dad, to mark the fact that at the moment, she is simply "Daddy's little girl".

Hell Nic, I thought she had conjunctivitis when I first saw the pictures!!! Phew it was only lipstick. Yes, we've certainly been there in this family. Wait until the desire to colour hair kicks in....
