Where did my dark-haired baby go???

I always imagined that when I had a daughter she would be a beautiful little dark-haired girl, with hair and eyes like mine (and thighs like someone else's completely!)

When Prue came along she was everything that I had ever dreamed of, lovely dark hair, sweet-natured, placid and happy. Now I have this wild, wavy, blonde-headed little thing who is far from placid. Bad-tempered, bossy madam would be a better description. Her father calls her "Wild Mike", or "Mikey", and Prue herself calls herself "wi-mi". For those of you who have seen the children's movie "The Barnyard", yes she is named after the creature in the box, and cross between cousin it and a whirling dervish!

Still, I love her to death. She is still sweet, she is cheeky, and funny, loving and smart. She loves her brothers, her Mum and Dad, and her cinderella doll, named "Della".

Ahhh! A blogsite. good on you. Yes, I too have wild blonde things. Everyone raises one eyebrow at my tribe and suspects that perhaps they are not mine given my dark hair. Little do they know colour means very little in this day and age. Lucy is particularly bossy.

Having heard so much about your little girl, it's nice to see a photo of her. Mind, I haven't read back on your blog for a while - just saw the link on Neek's. As I have had to go invite only (long story), if you would like to pop on over to mine just get Neek to send me your email address & I'll add you to the list.
