Cross Country..my little men.
These two lovely little men came first (Lachlan) and third (Hamish) in the 5/6 years boys group at the St Joseph's cross country. We are so proud, but also happy that both did well, not just one.
Lachlan set the pace from the start, charging ahead. I was worried that he would tire but he just kept powering on. I couldn't find Hamish, and suddenly I saw him in the distance, not too far behind his brother, in 3rd place. Gone is the unco-ordinated, easily tired little boy of last year (pre grommets and adnoidectomy/tonsillectomy). Hamish has always been built for speed and agility, and now is living up to the sporty potential that we saw in him before he started to be weighed down with glue ear and every infection going around. Sorry to boast, but I do love them so.

Boast away.... that is one of our rights as mum's (that & the ability to tell white lies & get away with it!!).
Well done boys, the infants don't get to participate in the CC at EPS, but with 600+ students I can understand why!
We had our Beach-a-thon yesterday, I'll post more about it later on mine.
Never ever apologise for boasting!!! :) I do enough of it myself on my blog! LOL..... You have every right to and rightly so!! What little Superstars!! Well done!
