Well there has been a lot happening, and very little time to blog about it. I notice that in my drafts I have started a post on the 7th of January with the sentence "Curiosity has finally gotten the better of me..." Well I hate to say it and will now be curious forever, because I have no idea what I was talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Trevor has been, up until this week, having some lazy days at home in the heat so we have been taking the kids swimming a lot. Our big achievement though, after about 2 years of building, Trevor and I are finally in our new room, and Prue is in hers!!!! Trevor had finished painting our room, and this weekend he painted Prue's . It is a gorgeous colour called Tip Toes, kind of a mauve-y pink. Soon we will get new carpet and some lovely built-ins and both rooms will be complete (thank you Mr Bank Manager!) Our room has the less romantic colour name of Hog bristles, hmm.. But looks very nice, very sophisticated I think, reminds me of some spa bungalow, it is kind of bone, and we have put up timber venetian blinds. I think it may look better than I am describing! I will get some photos uploaded soon! We have also spotted the new king size bed that we want at Everyday Living which will complete the new look. Just can't buy it until after our holiday to Port Macquarie in a few weeks, finances and all.
So it is nice to be on our own as Prue has slept in our room in a cot since she was born. Now that that room is hers and only has her new BIG GIRL SINGLE BED!!!!!! (plus millions of toys) I can't believe that we ever had a queen size bed and a cot in there. It is a VERY small room!
The kids are doing swimming lessons again, and after the usual fears, I am really happy that I have chosen the right levels for them. Okay, best go. The car is getting new tyres today. Yes, I will be stuck at swimming on a rainy day with three kids, hundreds of bags, and no car. Should be a hoot!

Hope your day doesn't turn out too bad. Sounds like your rooms are coming together nicely (I mentioned to Kay about it the other day & she said "Finally, Nicole must be so happy!).
Kristin and I are the proud owners of new beds and we love them... Just be careful, you may end up having to build another room if you spend too much time in there!!LOL hehe hahahah hehehe snicker snicker snicker...
must be a nice feeling! :)
eeewww how did you go in the rain all day without a car! not my idea of fun for sure... I had them stuck at home and that was bad enough.
3 inches!! WOWSERS - you lot are just in the right spot eh..... I don't think we have had that much on this side of town.... :)
Hi Nic, just thought I would let you know that if you do get your bed from everyday living make sure you use their freight company otherwise when something goes wrong with the bed like my table cracking you won't end up in a big fight on who should be paying for the freight of a new bed......
Reminds me I better ring them tomorow to find out when my table will be here!
Amie
